A daily register that fills itself in where it can
Teachers take the day's register in seconds on the web or the Android app. Approved leave and school holidays are already accounted for, so the monthly percentages are right without anyone correcting them.
Included in every plan, Free too
Two registers, one set of rules
Students, by section
One mark per student per day: present, absent, late or excused, taken for each section by its teacher.
Staff and teachers
A daily staff register: present, absent, late, half day or on leave. Approved leave fills in the register by itself.
Holidays block the register
Days the calendar closes the school, whether a dated holiday or a weekly closure such as Saturdays, cannot be marked, and they never count against anyone's percentage.
Leave becomes excused
A student's leave needs both the parent's and the school's approval, and approved days are marked excused automatically.
Web, app or assistant
Mark attendance on the web, in the Android app, or by telling the AI assistant who is absent and approving its change.
Monthly summaries
Monthly summaries and attendance percentages per student, and today's attendance across the school on the dashboard.
Working days are worked out, not typed
SchoolEasy knows which weekdays each section is taught from its timetable, and takes out the days the calendar closes the school. That is the denominator every attendance percentage uses.
Parents of an absent student can be told in the SchoolEasy Android app the same day, without the office making a single call.
- Dates in the Gregorian calendar, Bikram Sambat, or both side by side
- A recurring closure, like every Saturday, is one entry, not fifty
- A dated event can reopen a normally closed day for a make-up class
Frequently asked questions
Is attendance taken per period or per day?
Per day. Each student has one mark per day, present, absent, late or excused, taken for their section. Staff have their own daily register.
Can teachers take attendance on their phone?
Yes. Teachers take the register in the SchoolEasy Android app, which is in early access for pilot schools, as well as on the web.
What happens on a holiday?
Days the school calendar marks as closed cannot be marked in either register and are left out of every working-day count, so they never lower anyone's percentage.
Does SchoolEasy support the Nepali calendar?
Yes. Each school chooses the Gregorian calendar, Bikram Sambat, or both side by side, and English or Nepali for how dates are written.
How is staff leave handled?
When a teacher's leave is approved, their days are written into the staff register as on leave, and on the paid plans each period they would have taught becomes a cover gap with suggested substitutes.
Which SchoolEasy plans include attendance?
Included in every plan, Free too. The Free plan is free for schools with up to 300 students, with no card needed and no time limit. The pricing page shows every plan in your own currency.
