The weekly timetable
Period templates
Set the shape of the school day once: periods, breaks and their times. New timetables start from it.
One grid per section
Place subjects and teachers on each section's weekly grid, with the room if you use rooms.
Clash checks
A teacher, a room or a class can never be in two places in the same period. The grid tells you what clashes before it saves.
Who is free
An availability view shows which teachers and rooms are free in each period, across the whole school.
The whole school in one click
Generate every section's week at once from your faculty board: each subject's periods a week, its teacher and its room. You check the preview, swap or lock periods, and save. On every plan.
In everyone's pocket
Students, parents and teachers see the timetable in their own account and in the Android app.
Cover for absent teachers, without rewriting the week
When a teacher's leave is approved, every period they would have taught becomes a cover gap for those dates. SchoolEasy suggests the teachers who are free in each period, and the office assigns one. The base timetable never changes. Delete the leave and the day is exactly as it was, with nothing to restore by hand.
- Leave requests with types: sick, family, travel, religious and other
- Approved staff leave is written into the staff register
- Each day's real roster is the substitute where one is assigned, the usual teacher otherwise
Frequently asked questions
Does SchoolEasy generate the timetable automatically?
Yes. Generate timetable builds every section's week at once from your faculty board, on every plan including Free. No teacher, room or section is double-booked, teachers' unavailable times are kept, and a subject is spread over the week. You review it, swap or lock periods, and save; the week before can be restored. You can also build a week by hand on the grid, or ask the AI assistant.
What counts as a clash?
The same teacher, the same room or the same class in two places in the same period. SchoolEasy refuses to save a period that clashes.
How are substitutes chosen?
For each period an absent teacher would have taught, SchoolEasy lists the teachers who are free then. The office picks one; the base timetable is untouched.
Do students see the timetable?
Yes. Students and parents see their section's timetable, and teachers see their own, on the web and in the Android app.
Which SchoolEasy plans include the timetable and substitute cover?
Included in every plan, Free too. Leave and substitute cover: Gold and Platinum. The Free plan is free for schools with up to 300 students, with no card needed and no time limit. The pricing page shows every plan in your own currency.
